Potato Day 2022 – Early Plans

It might still be early days, but the wheels have started turning on plans for next year’s Potato Day!

We’ll again be taking bulk orders from whole allotment sites at a reduced cost – details below.

We’ll then open our online shop for personal orders for individual buyers in mid-January update: open now!

We hope to move back to a physical event as soon as we’re sure it’s safe and manageable, but for this year at least, we’ll keep it simple and go through our website.

Can you tell me when individuals will be able to buy seed potatoes?

Hi Vicky – we’ve just extended the bulk order period a bit to make sure we can get as many orders as possible through the bulk route (much simper to get them delivered out to individual allotment sites that way), so we’ll open the shop to individual folk from early Feb now.

Sorry Mairi, didn’t catch this in time but hopefully you got it in! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the mailing address on the form itself and that’ll go right to the best person to answer it for you.

Sorry, perhaps we’ll change the language of the post – we’re keeping it simple and putting orders through the website this year rather than having a physical event. Since there’s no one single day, you can put your orders through any time from now 👍🏻

Hi I’m keen to buy a small selection of potatoes and onion sets. When will I be able to do this?

Hi Jack – you can do that now! Link is above, in the post 😊
