Small grants for incorporated community groups and organisations to support local events, projects, and activities. Funding can be used for new or existing community events such as gala days, family fun days, sports activities, or heritage walks and talks.
🏛️ University of Glasgow – GRID Civic Grant Funds
💰 Funding: Up to £5,000
Supports community groups in G3, G11, G12, and G51 postcodes to create a lasting positive impact in the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District. Projects can be new initiatives or expansions of existing community projects.
⚡ Ofgem Energy Redress Scheme Just Transition Fund
💰 Funding: £20,000 – £250,000
⏳ Deadline: 5pm, 20 March
Funding for renewable energy projects that benefit vulnerable communities. The scheme aims to support the community energy sector and demonstrate how a fair transition to net zero can benefit everyone.
🌿 FCC Scottish Action Fund
💰 Funding: £2,000 – £40,000
⏳ Deadline: 5pm, 14 May
Supports community, environmental, and heritage projects near landfill sites and transfer stations.
🏗️ Eligible projects include:
- Land Reclamation
- Public Amenities & Parks
- Biodiversity
- Historic Buildings
📍 Eligibility: Projects in certain categories must be within 10 miles of a landfill site. Use SEPA’s screening tool to check eligibility.
Total project costs must not exceed £250,000. Grant recipients need to secure a Contributing Third Party (CTP) payment.
