🏚️ Vacant and Derelict Land Fund for 2025/26

💰 Funding: £1.907m allocated
Deadline: Noon, 7 March

Glasgow City Council is inviting applications for the Vacant and Derelict Land Fund for 2025/26, with £1.907m allocated by the Scottish Government.

Eligible projects must:

  • Be for sites on the Vacant and Derelict Land Register for at least 15 years.
  • Meet one or more Scottish Government objectives, such as stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, promoting environmental justice, and tackling inequalities.

Eligible Costs include feasibility, professional fees (e.g., surveyors), construction, acquisition, and demolition costs.

🏢 The Robertson Trust Community Spaces Fund

💰 Funding: £5,000 – £20,000 per year, up to 3 years

Supports the running costs of local community centres, hubs, or anchor organisations in high-poverty and trauma-impacted areas. The Trust focuses on helping at-risk groups such as disabled people, asylum seekers, refugees, and those facing racial inequities.


🚗 Community Learning Exchange Fund

💰 Funding: £200 – £1,000

A great opportunity for groups planning new ventures to learn from others. This fund covers travel costs to visit and learn from organisations with relevant experience.


🌱 Glasgow Community Food Network – Food and Climate Action Peer Budgeting Fund

💰 Funding: £500 – £3,000
Deadline: 10 March

Supports community groups with projects related to food and climate action. Projects can span across fields like kitchen cookery, visual arts, farming, and more.


🚗 Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust

💰 Funding: Varies

Supports charity and community organisations in north Glasgow, inviting applications for local projects that benefit people in this area.


💰 People’s Postcode Trust Scotland

💰 Funding: £500 – £25,000
Deadline: 31 March

For projects in Scotland with alignment to one of the Trust’s 2025 themes, such as enabling participation in physical activity, improving biodiversity, mental health, green spaces, and tackling inequality.


🧠 McCarthy Stone Foundation’s Dementia Grants Programme

💰 Funding: £7,500
Deadline: 14 March

Helps fund dementia clubs and memory cafes for older people (65+), particularly in areas of high deprivation.


🌍 Ethnic Minority Development Fund

💰 Funding: £500 – £15,000
Deadline: 14 April

Supports ethnic minority-led third sector organisations in Scotland with an annual income of £100,000 or less. Projects must promote the well-being of ethnic minority communities.


🏠 SafeDeposits Scotland Community Fund

💰 Funding: Up to £5,000
Deadline: 28 February

For organisations committed to projects that meet one of the following criteria:
