For projects that:

Projects should:

Increase access to outdoor spaces, particularly for marginalised or vulnerable groups 🌍
Bring local communities together 🤝
Make a lasting and demonstrable difference to an outdoor space 🏡
Enable groups to undertake a project that truly enhances a local space 🌺

💰 Funding Amount: Grants of up to £3,000 per year for up to 2 years

For projects that:

Benefit young people aged 11-25 years old 👦👧
Support those in a position of economic disadvantage (e.g., care leavers, homeless, young carers, young parents, refugees, and young people at risk of the criminal justice system) 🏚️
Empower young people to fulfil their potential, offering spaces where they feel safe and secure, helping them unlock talent, build life skills, and improve their chances of gaining meaningful employment 🌟
Demonstrate positive results from their project within 12 months of receiving KFC funding 📈

📅 Deadline: Apply by 31 March

Grants to support charitable organisations working with vulnerable, disadvantaged, or under-represented communities. Focus areas include:

Access: Removing barriers and improving access to services, education, and employability 📚
Empowerment: Developing life skills to enable self-confidence and success 💪
Quality of Life: Supporting physical and mental health 🧠💪

For projects that:

Have strong community involvement in their design and delivery 🤝
Demonstrate robust establishment and aftercare plans to ensure successful tree establishment 🌳
Aim for biodiversity net gain upon completion 🌱
Focus on river and riparian themes, including flood prevention or SUDS in urban communities 🌊🏙️
